EBA transformed an end-of-life “Jack and Jill” bathroom into a completely renewed en suite bathroom off of the primary bedroom. The door into the adjacent bedroom/library was closed off, allowing for the installation of a double basin vanity and an expansive mirrored medicine cabinet. The previously walled off shower is now wide open with a custom glass enclosure, built in shower bench and multiple shower heads/controls for maximum user flexibility. The electrical and plumbing systems were updated, and a radiant floor heating system was installed. The color pallet was developed around a classic mosaic marble floor tile. The fixtures and cabinetry were selected to stylistically transition between the historic detailing of the Tudor house and a more contemporary esthetic.
