PCTV relocated their studio from Pleasantville’s central business district to the water department’s decommissioned pump room on Lake Street. EBA worked with the Village Administration, Building Department and Works Department to fit out the space to PCTV specifications. The existing space needed to be stripped of the years of industrial use and upgraded to meet the requirements of the new use. Insulation was added to the exterior walls. In place of obsolete ventilation louvers, new insulated casement windows were installed. New LED lighting and a mini-split air-condition system was installed. The new studio space included a digital green screen cyclorama, backdrop curtains and track as well as a sound isolating window into the control room. The existing bathroom was cleaned up and updated with new fixtures and finishes. Check back for completed photos.
